Managing Your Organization
Organizations in Saldor
Organizations in Saldor allow you to invite other team members to use the Saldor Console which allows them to view saldor jobs and statuses. It should be noted that you don’t need to invite anyone to your organization for them to use Saldor. They can just use Saldor in the integrations you’ve connected if they’d like.
Creating an Organization
When you first sign up for Saldor, you’ll automatically be prompted to create an organization. As the organization creator, you’ll be designated as the admin with full control over organization settings and integrations.
Inviting Team Members
As an organization admin, you can invite other team members to join your Saldor organization:
- Navigate to the Saldor Console
- In the left side bar, click on “Settings”. This will take you to our Auth provider, where you can manage your account and organization settings.
Invited members will receive an email with instructions on how to join your organization.
Integration Permissions
It’s important to note that only the organization admin can connect and manage integrations with GitHub and Linear. This means:
- Only the admin needs to connect their GitHub/Linear accounts
- Your team members don’t need to set up separate integrations
- All team members will be able to view jobs created from these integrations
Working Without a Saldor Account
Your team members can still interact with Saldor-powered workflows even without a Saldor account:
- They can add the “saldor” label to GitHub issues (or assign Saldor in Linear)
- They can respond to Saldor’s questions directly in GitHub/Linear
- They can review and provide feedback on Saldor-generated PRs
Having a Saldor account is only necessary for accessing the Saldor Console, where team members can view detailed job information and metrics.
